When we think of our laundry rooms, we don’t think much about what it looks like we just think how much we hate doing our laundry in general. What if we changed that perspective? What if you designed a laundry room that was not only functional, but beautiful enough to make you not despise that chore! We’ve come up with a few design tips that will completely elevate your laundry room!

Shelving and storage can make or break your laundry room! If you don’t have enough space, or the finish material is dated, this is one update we suggest you make! This can even be done by mixing cabinetry with floating shelves (shown in the above design).
Paint! Paint! Paint! Might sound cliché, but a fresh coat of paint can be the exact face lift your space needs. It’s so simple yet it can totally change the entire room!
Tile is another selection you can choose to elevate your laundry room. Keep it clean with white subway tile, or add some color with a mosaic tile! Since this is typically a smaller space in your home, you can definitely have more fun in here!
Lighting in a laundry room is usually just a flush mount, but you can add character with some sconces or even pendants.
Accessorize! We don’t always think to accessorize a laundry room, but not only could it be a nice design choice, it can be functional. Add some glass jars for your detergent and softener! Place some baskets to hold cleaning products or towels. Then play around with some decor! Whether it be a candle or a plant to make it feel clean and beautiful!
Just because it is a laundry room doesn’t mean it can’t be a space you enjoy too!
