Entertaining Essentials

Well, we made it!! It’s officially May (insert N-Sync lyric lol)! We have been so excited for Summertime and now that we are in the last month of the school year, we can get excited about all the summer festivities! Pool parties, grad parties, barbecues, and our personal favorite dinner parties! If you plan on hosting any of these events this Summer at your home, you are going to need some entertaining essentials to make you the hostess with the mostess. Leaving your guests in awe of all your work! To help, we are coming up with a list of essentials you’ll need this summer to make your home even more inviting!

It’s all in the details when you are wanting your guests to feel at home. I always like to think that when they leave they felt it was memorable and comfortable.

Dinner Party Essentials

When it comes to hosting a dinner party, I want my guests to feel as though they’ve been invited to a small event! Making each guest feel special, and again this goes back to the details. For instance, if I’m still cooking when my guests arrive, I like to have my cocktail and beverage station already set up with all the ingredients they need to make it! This can be very simple if you decide to make a signature cocktail for the night! It’s super fun for your friends and guests and you don’t have to scramble around to make sure everyone has what they need. Of course, if they don’t love that signature cocktail you can have your guests BYOB (bring your own beverage). Most of the time my friends do this anyway.
