stylized spaces: living room edition

If you're tired of your living room decor, we completely understand and have been there. Trust me. Sometimes we want a fresh start or a different layout, but it can get very expensive trying to redecorate your entire living room. We, however, have come up with some tricks to add subtle changes to your space that won't hurt your pocket and will give your space a total face lift.

A good start when first designing a living room is to make it inviting and functional. We like it to be a little sanctuary where we can put our feet up at the end of the day and relax, maybe with a glass of wine or some reality TV (yes that is our guilty pleasure). Neutrals are an excellent base to design with! Our favorite additions come in with pops of color and texture to add some character; you can do this however you please. This is your home you should love where you live and make it yours!

On those days you're getting bored of your space, it doesn't have to be an entire remodel. You can create subtle changes with accent pieces such as pillows, rugs, art, and even play around with the layout of the room (feng shui) this will change the flow of energy in your space and can really make a difference not only in appearance, but the feel of the room. These little changes are great because it doesn't have to be expensive, but if you're are wanting to invest a bit more into styling your space, a new sofa and an accent chair alone can make all the difference!
