spend vs. save: bedroom edition

Whether you're trying to style a guest room or completely remodel your own bedroom, here are some ideas you should consider when designing a bedroom.

We typically like to start by picking out one large piece then designing the rest of the room based off that item. It can be a rug, a bed, a dresser, or even a handed down antique chair! This helps with style and a color scheme. Most of the time we like to stick to a neutral base with pops of color. Add in pops through pillows, drapery, an accent chair, or even a cool textured wallpaper.

With this room, we wanted it to feel peaceful and natural. Sticking to a neutral color scheme with pops of color in art and chairs. At the end of the day you need to go home to a room that will make you feel relaxed. A stress free environment. Calming colors like these are a great way to make your space feel this way. The textiles you use are also very important. This is where you sleep, so we think investing in good comfortable bedding and furniture is an absolute must! Not only should it feel comfortable, but it should match your aesthetic. For example we are loving these canopy bed frames making a bedroom feel so dreamy!

Two rooms, two ways! Here we wanted to show how you can create a bedroom where you can either splurge or save. Making it beautiful and functional! The best part, you can shop right here from the comfort of your home with just a click of a button.
